Job Summary
Quality Engineer Inspection responsibilities include inspecting fabricated & machining parts per engineering drawing, reviewing material test certificates, conducting in-process and final inspections, handling WS S inspection TPIs and NCs with suppliers, driving quality metrics and COPQ targets, and contributing to quality management system improvements. Requires a degree in engineering or related technical field, with proven experience in technical roles, data visualization (Excel/Power BI), strong communication skills, and knowledge of quality tools (Control Plans, Kaizen, 5S, Statistical Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Action Systems, FMEA, PPAP, and Cause and Effect Diagrams). Required Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering or related technical field
- Must have considerable experience in technical roles preferably in a large multi-location business
- Demonstrated experience in data visualization in Microsoft Excel and/or other data visualization tools such as Power BI
- Effective written, verbal and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to persistently pursue and achieve results
- Knowledge in quality management tools, such as: Control Plans, Kaizen, 5S, Statistical Analysis, Root Cause analysis tools, Corrective Action Systems, FMEA, PPAP and Cause and Effect Diagrams preferred
