Quality Engineer III

Represent the quality function of technical support regarding issues affecting manufacturing on global customer accounts, serving as a liaison between Jabil Circuit and suppliers or customers on global quality-related issues. Develop and maintain QA plans for new product introductions using Advanced Product Quality Planning and Process Optimization. Provide support for quoting activities through initial process design, development, and implementation phases. Evaluate inspection processes via aids and guidelines, while developing specialized training sessions for global customer functions. Review all supplies and discrepancies to coordinate corrective and preventative action efforts, and participate in vendor survey activities to drive supplier process improvements. Interface with all departments on policies and procedures, assisting in implementing process improvement methodologies and standardizing manufacturing processes for global accounts. Adhere to safety, health, and security policies as directed.
