Job Summary
Develop and maintain Quality Visual aids for inline, final, and OBA inspections while improving NPI efficiency through Design for Manufacturability tools. Partner with Engineering to update PFMEA's and Control Plans, lead efforts to improve process yields, and conduct LPA2 and ISO Internal Audits. Review customer defects, verify documentation, and lead root cause analysis using Quality tools. Ensure compliance with customer procedures, approve ECN's and deviations, and provide trend analysis of internal and customer defects. Interface with customers on quality issues, train team members, and mentor Quality Technicians. Meet metric goals for process yields and CAPA's, adhere to safety policies, and lead continuous improvement projects using lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated Quality Engineer experience in related industry or field
