Job Summary
Quality Engineer III onsite at Florence, KY leads audits to ensure ISO 9001 compliance, develops CAPA and FMEA processes, creates control plans and inspection procedures, performs root cause analysis, mentors junior staff, and drives continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include leading audits, implementing corrective/preventive actions, risk mitigation, documentation authoring, and collaboration across cross-functional teams to improve product quality and operational excellence. Shift is 12 hours (6am–6pm) with rotating days/off.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
- Minimum of 5 years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with CAPA systems, FMEA, and ISO 9001 standards
- Strong root cause analysis (RCA) and problem-solving skills
- Experience developing and managing work instructions and SOPs
- Strong analytical and communication skills
