Job Summary
Quality Engineer II leads the test strategy and quality outcomes for the delivery team, owns test planning for releases and sprints, and develops/executes comprehensive test plans and scripts across functional, regression, API, and exploratory testing. Builds and maintains automated test suites (e.g., Playwright for UI, Postman/Newman for API) and contributes automated tests to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Validates data integrity across ETL pipelines and integrated systems, performs root-ccause analysis, participates in code reviews, and coaches junior team members. Requires 3+ years in quality engineering with hands-on experience in test automation and familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices; bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. Skills include Java/Python/JavaScript/TypeScript, RESTful APIs, SQL, version control, and awareness of AI-assisted testing tools; strong communication and collaboration, including coordination with distributed teams and offshore/nearshore vendors.
