Job Summary
Develop processes and documentation for the quality management system, including APQP, DFMEA, and PFMEA. Conduct product and process audits, perform root-cause analysis, and lead corrective actions. Manage assigned customers and suppliers through layered audits and improvement teams. Read blueprints to identify non-conforming products and support operations with disposition decisions. Implement statistical process control and maintain project trackers for active initiatives. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or 10 years of equivalent experience, with 5 years in Quality Engineering and IATF16949/ISO14001 certifications. The position is full-time, exempt, and located on-site with occasional local travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a technical field or a minimum of 10 years of equivalent relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- A minimum of 5 years in Quality Engineering
- Experience with IATF16949 and ISO14001 certifications required
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Quality Engineer(CQE) a plus
- AITF 16949 or ISO14000 auditor certification a plus
- 3+ years in automotive is preferred
