Quality Engineer II

Job Summary
Design and analyze inspection, testing processes, and equipment; conduct quality assurance tests and perform statistical analysis to assess non-conforming products. Audit quality systems for deficiencies, ensure corrective measures meet reliability standards, and maintain documentation compliant with AS/ISO and FAA regulations. Plan, direct, and coordinate quality engineering functions for assigned product lines, including customer Corrective Action Requests and regulatory compliance. Drive Lean efforts within manufacturing, develop quality metrics, and mentor teams to improve production quality and reliability. Manage foreign country documentation and lead delivery processes for customer resolution.
Required Qualifications
- BS or Equivalent on-the-job-experience
- Generally 5-10 years of experience in a specialized functional discipline
- Previous DMIR experience
- 14 CFR Part 21 knowledge dealing with documents in an engineering or manufacturing environment to present to the FAA
- Embraer MES User
- Embraer MRBQA knowledge
- Embraer Aircraft Documentation Delivery
- Proficient in Excel, and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- strong phone etiquette
- Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, EPA, State and Federal regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours and different shifts if required
- Employees will be subject to the random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations
Desired Qualifications
- SAP experience a plus
- Extensive knowledge of aircraft preferred
- A&P preferred
