Job Summary
Design and maintain automated test scripts for UI, API, and backend systems while deriving comprehensive test plans based on system requirements. Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery and ensure full test coverage across functional, regression, and API scenarios. Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve defects, participate in sprint planning and backlog grooming, and mentor junior members on test design and automation best practices. Document test results and risks clearly to drive quality initiatives within Agile teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- 3+ years of experience in software testing and automation
- Hands-on experience with BDD-Cucumber, Selenium and Java for UI automation
- Good understanding of API testing (Postman, Rest Assured)
- Experience with SQL and relational database validation
- Familiarity with version control (Git/GitHub)
- Good understanding of Java
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and test management tools (JIRA, XRAY)

- Mentor junior team members and share best practices for test design and automation

- Collaboration: Works closely with developers and product teams to ensure shared quality ownership

Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to performance testing (JMeter, Gatling)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions)
- ISTQB or similar testing certification
