Job Summary
Quality Engineer I at Owens & Minor supports and continuously improves the operations and quality system elements for the facility involved in distribution, repackaging, relabeling, and value-added services for manufacturers of medical devices under Owens & Minor’s Outsourced Logistics. Serves as quality contact for assigned areas, accountable for all quality outputs, and supports defect reduction, problem resolution, and CAPAs using investigative and analytical tools. Contributes to quality objectives and KPIs, SOPs/WIs, validation/qualification testing, and compliance with 21 CFR Part 820 and ISO 13485. This onsite role is located at the Louisville, Kentucky distribution center; anticipated salary is $70,000 annually and may vary by experience, skills, and location.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Engineering or a Science related field required
- Microsoft Application experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required
