Job Summary
Conduct hands-on testing activities by creating and supporting processes within functional areas to deliver quality solutions through automation. Build and enhance automation frameworks using Selenium for web testing and Appium for mobile application automation. Manage and execute test cases with the Cucumber framework while performing API testing with REST Assured. Analyze requirements to convert them into test scenarios and track defects using tools like Zephyr and JTMF. Work primarily onsite at a TD location for meetings and team events, applying core Java concepts and Agile methodologies to support the delivery of quality solutions for over 27 million households and businesses.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in Quality Engineering or Software Testing using industry standard tools
- Strong knowledge of Core-Java concepts (OOP, collections, exception handling)
- Hands on experience with Selenium for web automation
- Experience with Appium for mobile application automation
- Good hold of Cucumber framework for managing and executing test cases
- Experience in REST Assured for API testing and automation
- Understanding of SDLC, STLC and Agile methodologies
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as Zeyphr, JTMF
- Ability to analyze requirements and convert those into test scenarios
- Primarily onsite at a TD location for meetings, team events and experiences
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins
- Basic knowledge of Git and version control systems
- Familiarity with proxy tools like Charles, Wiremock
