Job Summary
Conduct proactive audits, monitor non-conforming items, and lead corrective and preventative action (CAPA) plans to address quality issues. Review first pass yield (FPY) and drive employee engagement by providing training, ensuring cross-training, and maintaining 5S standards. Develop and sustain a Quality Management System (QMS) to ISO standards while implementing continuous improvement efforts. Work with relevant teams to develop and implement change recommendations that prevent defects early in the development process. Must be able to work off-schedule hours, mandatory overtime, and flexible hours to meet goals. Domestic travel up to 10% of the time is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or 8 years' experience in lieu of degree
- 3-5 years' experience in quality
- Must be able to work off-schedule hours to meet goals and objectives
- Ability to work mandatory overtime, flexible hours, and/or overtime on short notice
- Must be able to travel domestically up to 10% of the time
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- C.Q.E. and/or Quality Assurance training with certificate underway or completed a plus
- Knowledge of statistical software
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Knowledgeable of MS Office products
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management
