Job Summary
Drive site Quality Management System compliance and ISO 9001:2015 certification by overseeing QM lot and First Article Inspections via the SAP platform. Resolve defects and address quality issues with limited supervision while guiding plant-level Quality Inspectors. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to implement corrective actions, analyze defect trends, and lead continuous improvement initiatives such as CAPA. Review design plans and procedures to ensure products meet engineering specifications and customer integrity requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
- Three to five years of related experience
- Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times
Desired Qualifications
- Five to ten years of experience
- Supervision and leadership experience
- Internal Auditor certification
- SAP experience
- Education and working knowledge of RCCA methodologies, concentration in Root Cause, Quality Improvement, Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline
- Quality Engineer work experience
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems
- Communication skills
- Proficient in project management and problem solving
- Extensive knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn the organization's production processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to serve as a liaison with developers, project managers, and customer support
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Must be willing to learn and obtain experience as needed for successful management of site level QMS
- Must be willing to work as a team player with production and the Quality Team
- Continuous Improvement
- Provide leadership working in cross-functional teams to drive superb Quality Improvement initiatives along with solid contributions towards progressing leading indicators to achieve a world-class Quality Management System
