Job Summary

Develop standardized procedures, conduct root cause analysis, and validate CAPA effectiveness to ensure consistent quality performance. Define and classify quality characteristics for new and existing products while interpreting test results to verify design validation. Serve as a technical liaison for customer build issues, manage supplier qualifications, and support new program launches including First Article Inspection. Partner with cross-functional teams to reduce scrap and rework, utilizing data-driven decision-making and statistical studies like SPC and MSA to drive continuous improvement. Analyze customer returns and internal rejections to report findings and enhance overall product reliability.

  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
  • Ability to manage and solve problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized and complex situations
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings in accordance with GD&T standards
  • Strong knowledge of quality processes within a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Suite for tracking, reporting, and data management
  • Must have knowledge to apply complex use of databases/spreadsheets
  • Ability to complete the planning of workflow and meetings
  • Must have solid analytical skills and solution-driven thinking
  • Able to use large amounts of data to make strategic decisions
  • Ability to apply continuous improvement and lean principles to enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Experience with KPI tracking, performance metrics, and data analysis to support operational improvements
  • Bachelors (B.S.) degree in manufacturing engineering, or related field
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of related experience
  • High School Degree or General Education Degree
  • Five (5) to ten (10) years of related experience and/or training
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
  • For High School degree or equivalents, minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience required
  • Experience managing ERP systems (e.g., Made-2-Manage)
  • Experience with ISO 900, AS9100, and/or ISO 13485 Standards
  • Must be a U.S. person as defined in the ITAR and EAR (citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylum seeker)
  • Travel 10% as required

  • Required use of PPE including safety glasses, gloves, and safety‐toed footwear
  • While performing the duties of this job, will regularly be exposed to moving high-speed machinery and mechanical parts
  • Will occasionally be exposed to machine oils and hazardous materials
