Job Summary
Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure reliability and performance of refurbished GPUs and servers through inspection, testing, SOP development, and CAPA. Responsibilities include incoming/in-process/final inspections, functional/stress/benchmark/burn-in testing, diagnosing hardware/firmware issues, ensuring proper firmware and driver configurations, developing SOPs for refurbishment, collaborating with refurbishment and supply-chain teams, applying Lean/Six Sigma/8D/A3 methods to improve processes, monitoring defect rates and performing root-cause analysis with corrective actions, maintaining ISO 9001 and ESD compliance, producing quality reports/NCRs, and training technicians while liaising with suppliers and cross-functional teams to enhance refurbishment efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
- Five (5) years plus of working experience as a Quality Engineer, preferably in electronics, IT hardware, or refurbishment
- Certifications: Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or IPC certifications
- Knowledgeable in development and maintenance of Control Plans and PFMEA
- Experience with failure analysis, ESD protection, and component-level troubleshooting
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, R2, RoHS, and UL safety certifications
