Quality Engineer

Job Summary
Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System while leading efforts for ISO9001, FM, and UL certification and compliance. Establish and execute internal and supplier audit plans, preparing the organization for third-party audits and maintaining inspection reports. Conduct weekly and monthly reporting against organizational KPIs and perform annual performance reviews. Collaborate with Engineering to ensure robust process controls and error-proofing, while formulating quality objectives with Operations to maximize product reliability. Lead root cause identification and correction processes, including 8-Ds and 5-Whys, and manage PPAP submittals with customer interfaces. Assist with corrective action closure and develop PFMEA and process control plans. Willing to travel to various business locations. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years in quality and internal auditing, and industry experience in Electrical/Electronics Manufacturing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years' quality and internal auditing experience
- Knowledgeable of ISO9001, IPC 610, IPC 620, J-STD-001
- Advanced Microsoft Office experience
- Ability to lift to ~50 lbs
- Ability to work with very small parts and be able to use a scope/Inspection magnifying aids
Desired Qualifications
- Electrical/Electronics Manufacturing industry experience is preferred
- Leadership experience is preferred
