Job Summary
Manage product failure, non-conformance, and CAPA processes by completing root cause analysis and implementing robust action plans to ensure no recurrence. Facilitate timely closures of complaints and verify effectiveness. Provide manufacturing quality trend charts and analysis to suggest continuous improvement practices, including kaizen events and Lean manufacturing principles. Utilize tools like FMEA and VOC to drive improvements via the Danaher Business System. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, and manufacturing. This on-site role in Duncan, SC reports to the Quality Team Manager within the Quality Assurance Team. Bachelor's degree in engineering with 3+ years in a regulated environment required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field (e.g. Biomedical, Chemical, Pharma, Industrial, Mechanical, Systems, Quality, Reliability)
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or highly regulated environment
- Proficiency with data analysis and applying tools in problem solving, risk assessment, process validation and change control
- Proven agility working with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated experience in customer facing interactions and conflict resolution
- Proficient with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word
- On-site position in Duncan, SC
Desired Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma
- Knowledge of the following software/systems: Veeva, SAP, Magic (Enovia)
- Technical writing
- Previous experience in: Lean Six Sigma
