QUALITY ENGINEER/CMM PROGRAMMER

Job Summary
Program and operate CMMs with CMM Manager software to conduct precise measurements of components and assemblies. Prepare and review First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs), lead Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation, and apply GD&T principles to develop accurate inspection plans. Perform statistical analysis including Cpk studies to assess process performance and drive quality improvements by identifying root causes of defects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and maintain compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, and NADCAP standards while ensuring accurate documentation of all quality control activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality engineering role, including hands-on experience with CMM programming
- Strong knowledge of FAIRS, PPAP, Cpk, statistical process control (SPC), and quality improvement methodologies
- Proficiency in GD&T and interpreting engineering drawings
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (RCA/CAPA)
- Familiarity with final inspection processes, documentation, and customer-specific requirements
- Understanding of quality systems and standards, including ISO 9001
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Pre-employment drug screening, including THC
