Job Summary
Quality Engineer responsible for supplier management and providing technical support to manufacturing, including leading or supporting quality investigations and continuous improvements projects. Responsibilities include cross-functional team leadership on quality issues (returns, complaints, internal non-conformances), root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and documentation via strong technical writing; lead or support supplier quality audits, incoming quality initiatives, and supplier changes; ensure regulatory compliance to IEC, ISO9001, ISO13485, AS9100 and assist with UL certification and ISO accreditations; drive continuous improvements and project management to meet customer and plant objectives. Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, 3-5 years in manufacturing (SMT experience a must), knowledge of SPC and DOE, and proficiency with MS Office; ASQ certification is desirable. Position is full-time and on-site in Eden Prairie, MN with limited travel; US person per ITAR/EAR regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in engineering or related field with 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing
- 2-3 years of experience working in electronics manufacturing environment or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- SMT experience a must
- MS Office experience required
