Job Summary
Identify, investigate, and resolve manufacturing quality issues by working closely with Operations and cross-functional teams at the shop floor. Lead quality improvement projects focused on reducing product faults, rework, and improving right-first-time performance using RCA and 8D methodologies. Analyze production quality data to drive the Manufacturing Quality Review process, identify trends, and deliver sustainable corrective actions that enhance efficiency and manufacturing standards. This hands-on role supports Avtron's right-first-time culture within their global load bank and dynamometer operations facility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience
- Proven experience with manufacturing quality control, RCA and 8D methodologies
- Experience analysing production and quality data and using findings to drive measurable improvement
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across Operations, Engineering, Quality and other functions
