Job Summary
Execute functional, regression, and parallel testing of product enhancements and strategic projects, ensuring full coverage of requirements and design. Perform manual and automated regression testing for planned upgrade releases, developing and maintaining test automation suites using frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, and Selenium. Provide feedback on business requirements and technical design documents, deliver ad-hoc support to internal and external clients, and ensure data integrity and security validation across systems. Participate in code reviews, mentor junior testers, and support performance and penetration testing initiatives. Contribute to the testing framework while promoting automation-first practices. Join the Apex Invest team in Makati City to validate front-end applications and enterprise systems supporting financial services operations.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for software development
- Strong interest in the Financial Services industry
- 10+ years of experience in a test analyst or QE role
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical analysis skills
- Reputable tertiary qualifications
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and stakeholder engagement ability
- Experience with test automation frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, YAML pipelines, Git)
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman)
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-region team and global client base
- Willingness to work flexible hours when urgent issues arise
Desired Qualifications
- Fund administration or securities markets experience
- ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing
- Professional Accounting qualification
- Knowledge of file transfer mechanisms and API testing
- Exposure to performance and penetration testing (JMeter, K6, Burp Suite, Nmap)
- Experience with containerization and infrastructure tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform)
