Job Summary
Quality Engineer Analyst responsible for developing and maintaining QA processes, leading Lean/Six Sigma initiatives, performing in-process and finished-goods inspections, managing documentation, and collaborating with engineering, production, and supply chain to ensure QMS compliance and product quality; supervises on-site Quality department.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering within the manufacturing industry
- Degree preferred, or equivalent Quality Assurance/Quality Control experience
- Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and industry standards (ISO 9001, AS9100, AS9120 or ISO13485 acceptable)
- Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and quality control tools
- AS9102 First Article Inspections
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
- Experience with CMMs and quality inspection equipment
- Communication skills to interact with suppliers and customers
- Ability to train and support employees on QMS processes
Desired Qualifications
