Job Summary
Responsible for supporting daily plant quality operations and monitoring inspection and testing functions within the Quality department. Key responsibilities include maintaining the Quality Management System and ISO/IATF Certifications, conducting audits, managing suppliers, and developing training to enhance quality awareness. Experience with automotive quality problem-solving tools and statistical process control is essential. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Measurement Systems: calipers, micrometers, optical comparator, CMM (Open DMIS) using CAD generated models
- Experience with AIAG Core Tools: SPC, APQP, PFEMA, MSA & PPAP
- Ability to travel from plant to plant
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality
- Proven ability to work well in a team environment and excellent work history
- Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and competence with GD&T
- Excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills
- Proactive, positive attitude, safety and environmentally focused
