Job Summary

Coordinate, document, and report quality activities for the Louisiana Bridge Builders project by ensuring inspection and testing documentation is accurately completed and filed. Monitor Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for construction activities and verify that hold points, witness points, and acceptance criteria are followed per specifications. Perform routine field and off-site inspections at owner, supplier, or manufacturer yards to confirm compliance with approved drawings and work plans. Compile comprehensive reports detailing quality performance, trends, and corrective actions while collaborating on the digitalization of quality records. Monitor and generate daily reports on contractor progress and performance, identifying and recording incidents related to quality plans and procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study
  • 3+ years of related quality experience
  • High school diploma, or equivalent, along with 7+ years of related quality experience
  • Experience working with Design-Build projects and/or the construction industry
  • Current and valid driver's license
  • Knowledge and experience in the implementation of the ISO 9001 standard on Quality Management System
  • Ability to effectively communicate in a positive and professional manner through written and verbal communications in all interfaces with customers/public, fellow employees, vendors, etc.
  • Ability to use appropriate computer programs (including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite) which includes having proficient computer skills and the ability to adapt and learn as programs and processes change
  • Ability to work as a team member and exert initiative to work independently to reach a goal
  • Ability to embrace change in the workplace while encouraging others to seek innovative approaches
  • Ability to function effectively as a team player and collaborator
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including overtime and work additional and/or different hours, including but not limited to nights, weekends, and/or holidays, as needed, to best serve the business operations
  • Ability to perform on-site inspections in outdoor areas

  • Experience in implementing quality management and quality control digital tools
