Job Summary
Conduct quality engineering support for manufacturing to ensure delivery of highest quality products. Identify manufacturing process defects by disposing of nonconforming material, assessing root causes, and understanding corrective and preventive actions. Provide input to product quality plans, specifications, and risk analyses including FMEAs. Monitor process systems, reduce process variation, and gather quality metric data to enhance product design and new product development. Work with process owners to bound product stops and document release criteria. This role is based at the Barceloneta location in the AV division at first shift (8am-5pm).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of related work experience with a basic understanding of specified functional area
- Ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally to assist with resolving Quality issues
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills in both English and Spanish
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees
- Previous experience in medical devices or pharmaceutical industry is preferred
