Job Summary

Quality Engineer on the production floor focused on real-time problem solving, root-cause analysis, and process improvement to meet AS9100 and NADCAP requirements. Collaborates with machinists, inspectors, programmers, and leadership to reduce defects, improve process capability, support MRB activities, and ensure compliance through inspections, first-piece approvals, and ongoing quality documentation. Qualified candidates will have 3–5 years in quality roles, a bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred), and experience in a highly controlled manufacturing environment involving tight-tolerance machined components.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, quality, or related technical field preferred
  • Minimum 3–5 years in a quality functional role
  • Experience in AS9100-certified environments required
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred
  • Experience with turbine components, complex castings, or tight-tolerance machining highly preferred
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience preferred
  • ITAR/export control awareness or compliance familiarity preferred
