Job Summary
Document, implement, and manage the project-specific Quality Control Plan while gathering customer requirements and reviewing governing reference materials. Oversee field inspections to ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures, and conduct Mutual Understanding Meetings with subcontractors. Create and maintain the Quality Control Tracking Log and necessary checklists, verify submittal approvals, and facilitate design reviews. Maintain ongoing interfaces with clients and subcontractors for issue resolution, reporting, and audits, and coordinate inspections with third-party inspectors. Lead quality assurance activities, including audits, deliverables, and process improvement projects to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Prepare quality reports and scorecards to track adherence to documented policies and procedures across the value stream.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ Years of experience
- Bachelors Science Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- Industrial/Systems Engineering
- Must successfully pass a background check
- Working knowledge of USACE/NAVFAC 3-Phase Quality Control System
