Job Summary
Quality Engineer in a 1st-shift role responsible for ensuring customer requirements are implemented and verified during PCB design and manufacturing. Duties include reading, interpreting, and following English procedures; authoring and approving procedures and quality documents; coordinating with internal teams and customers to address quality issues; leading and directing others; focusing on product quality, yield, and process improvement; interacting with customers regarding process improvement and failure analysis; defining and implementing quality processes, selecting materials and tools, and training manufacturing personnel in quality verification. Requires strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, data interpretation, and ability to work across manufacturing, engineering, and sales. Preferred certification in Six Sigma Green Belt and knowledge of PFMEA, GD&T, DOE, DPPM, 8D, and other quality tools. Also includes compliance with ITAR/EAR/export-control considerations and standard safety, productivity, and attendance expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 3-5 years experience and/or training in the PCB industry or equivalent
