Job Summary
Design and implement a system-wide quality management framework aligning with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of key quality metrics and patient outcome data to identify trends and develop targeted interventions. Lead initiatives to enhance clinical quality, patient safety, and process efficiency across all rehabilitation facilities in Texas while ensuring adherence to state, federal, and accreditation standards. Prepare regular reports for the Executive Leadership team and Board of Directors showcasing quality performance metrics and strategic recommendations. Partner with clinical leaders and frontline staff to foster a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered clinical licenses in the state where the hospital is operating
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare quality management
- proven track record in an inpatient hospital setting
- Deep knowledge of quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, PDSA)
- Expertise in healthcare regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and best practices
- Proficiency in healthcare data management and statistical analysis tools
- Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple tasks
- Speaks and communicates English effectively in verbal and written format
- Reading and comprehension at the level necessary to perform job duties appropriately
- Functions proficiently in a Microsoft Windows environment (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Desired Qualifications
- Education in a healthcare-related field or a clinical degree
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or other relevant quality certifications
