Job Summary
Quality Director to lead SEGI’s Quality Management System and oversee project quality execution for turnkey energy infrastructure EPC projects, ensuring compliance with SEGI and customer quality requirements. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining the QMS, engineering/supply chain/field inspection quality programs, supplier qualification and audits, non-conformance tracking, site inspections of construction materials, coordinating third-party inspections, driving continuous improvement to reduce defects and improve efficiency, supporting proposal development and kickoff with project-specific Quality Plans, and preparing for ISO 9001 and other audits. Requires leadership across cross-functional teams, strong organizational and communication skills, and deep knowledge of QA/QC practices and relevant standards (ISO 9001, AS9100, API, ASME, NERC). Preferred Six Sigma/Lean certification and familiarity with power generation equipment such as gas turbines, transformers, pumps, chillers, cooling towers, and heat exchangers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university
- 10-15+ years of experience in industrial project QA/QC, preferably in power generation, oil & gas, petrochemical or other industrial projects
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, API, ASME, NERC and other relevant standards
- Familiar with quality system, process control, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, etc.
