Quality Coordinator

Entry level Quality Coordinator responsible for hourly in-process inspections of running jobs using gauges, scales and visual inspection to identify defects and ensure conformance to IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards. Quarantine nonconforming parts with proper identification and labeling, and notify floor supervisor/plant manager of non-conformities. Support additional Quality department duties as assigned. Skills emphasized include strong attention to detail, visual acuity for defect identification, teamwork, safety awareness, and the ability to work on both the production floor (approx. 25%) and the quality lab (approx. 75%) performing dimensional inspections. Must have a High School Diploma; proficiency with hand gauges (micrometer, caliper, ring gauges, plug gauges) is a plus.
