Job Summary
Quality Control Coordinator role combines QA/QC field and office responsibilities to manage documentation ensuring quality procedures, records, inspections, and turnover packages are accurate, compliant, and audit-ready. Collaborates with construction, fabrication, project controls and project teams to support project delivery while aligning with industry standards. Key duties include reviewing QMS procedures for code compliance, creating and reviewing pressure testing plans, managing NCR/RCA reports, training inspectors, organizing and archiving project documentation with version control, supporting inspection logs and compliance reports, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve documentation issues. Requires 3–5+ years of QA/QC document control experience in industrial/construction environments, proficiency with code interpretation and documentation systems, familiarity with ASME/AISC/AWS/API/ISO/NEC/ACI standards, and strong organizational and communication skills. Occasional travel (~10%) and a mix of field and office work expected.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in QA/QC document control within industrial or construction environments
- Strong knowledge of document control for code compliance processes
- Experience with quality management systems and project documentation
- Ability to read and interpret codes, technical drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with industry standards (ASME, AISC, AWS, API, ISO, NEC, ACI)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and document management systems
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
