Job Summary
Coordinate and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) and administer ISO 9001 compliance activities, including managing document control, internal and external audits, and risk management processes. Act as the primary customer complaint coordinator by investigating quality concerns, tracking corrective actions, and preparing performance reports. Oversee QC laboratory activities, equipment calibration, and sample coordination while facilitating quality meetings and supporting employee training programs. This role reports to the Regional Quality Manager at the Timmins Micronizing Mill with occasional travel to Penhorwood.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 3–5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous experience with ISO Management Systems
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001 requirements
- Understanding of laboratory procedures and quality assurance practices
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and SharePoint
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Auditing experience
- Statistical analysis and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
- Comfortable working with employees at all levels of the organization
- Team player who enjoys supporting operational excellence and customer satisfaction
- Occasional travel to Penhorwood
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting quality assurance or quality management systems in an industrial or manufacturing environment
