Job Summary

Quality Coordinator II provides leadership and technical expertise to manage quality across construction projects. Responsibilities include developing and administering quality policies and procedures, coordinating with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to achieve 100% compliant work, maintaining relationships with engineers/consultants, assisting teams with project-specific quality management plans, conducting site visits and inspections, reviewing specifications and contract drawings, delivering training to team members, guiding risk prevention efforts, and leveraging technology to support operational excellence. The role also involves coordinating QC functions to avoid construction delays, documenting deficiencies and corrective actions (NCRs), maintaining records of quality-control activities, and leading three-phase inspection processes and weekly QC meetings with internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in Procore, Viewpoint, SharePoint, and MS Office is required, as well as knowledge of construction standards and codes, shop drawing/submittal reviews, and safety practices.

Required Qualifications

  • An associate or undergraduate university degree or higher (preferably in Quality Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a closely related field)
  • Minimum of three (3) years of construction experience as a part of a quality control supervision
  • Minimum of five (5) years industrial and/or commercial construction experience
  • Experience with large/complex quality plan implementation
  • In-depth knowledge of the Construction Standards and Best Practices
  • Working knowledge of the International Building Code
  • Knowledge and experience of diverse project type
  • Computer skills using Procore, Viewpoint, SharePoint, MS Office
  • Physical Demands/Essential Job Functions: ability to walk, stand, operate tools/equipment, lift up to 25lbs
  • Ability to participate in required training and safety programs
  • Provide suggestions to improve Safety
