Quality Coordinator

Job Summary

Conduct routine audits to ensure quality improvement goals are met and action plans are maintained. Evaluate and monitor clinical outcomes, including hospital-acquired conditions and prevention bundle adherence, to drive care quality. Participate in investigations of potential safety events by reviewing clinical documentation and interviewing staff. Collaborate with leadership and physicians to identify performance opportunities, develop action plans for metrics below benchmarks, and facilitate multidisciplinary teams using quality improvement science. Serve as a liaison between the Quality office and department staff, ensuring adherence to accreditation requirements and CMS Conditions of Participation. Coordinate management of clinical protocols, practice guidelines, and survey preparation documents. Share quality data and improvement projects with stakeholders and manage department-specific certification applications.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university
  • one to two years related experience and/or training
  • equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2 years' experience in clinical area of position, Quality, or Regulatory
  • Licensed in Texas if required for specialty i.e.: RN – Registered Nurse in Texas, Respiratory Therapist in Texas, etc.

Desired Qualifications

  • PDSA PI team experience
