Job Summary
Conduct mouldshop, in-process, and batch release inspections while recording non-conformances in SAP. Perform first-off approvals, goods-in inspections, and packing department releases to ensure all products meet ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and GDP standards. Routinely check plastic parts, machines, and processes against specifications, actively reporting issues to the QC Supervisor and relevant departments. Work independently and within a team of nine professionals on a rotating shift pattern in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire.
Required Qualifications
- right to work in the UK
- Experience in a quality control role in manufacturing or production environment in the pharmaceutical or medical industry following ISO standards
- Experience of reading engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience of using Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills, to be able to juggle multiple processes and priorities
- Flexible approach to work
- Shift pattern: one week Monday to Thursday 5:30am to 14:00, Friday 06:00am to 11:00am the following week Monday to Thursday 14:00 – 22:00, Friday 11:00am to 18:00 rotating shifts on a weekly basis
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a quality control role in manufacturing or production environment in the automotive, food, aerospace etc.
- Experience of using a CMM either Aberlink and/or Zeiss
