Quality Controller - Fencing

Job Summary
Quality Controller to oversee fencing quality, harvesting and Spekboom planting operations within nature-based carbon projects. Key duties include coordinating fencing activities with project managers, training contractors on best practices, ensuring health, safety and environmental compliance, maintaining quality management standards, assisting with risk assessments and audits, data collection and reporting, asset and fleet management, and supporting landowner relations. The role requires remote-field work in the Eastern and Western Cape, travel to remote locations, irregular hours, and supervision of contractor teams to ensure project deliverables align with environmental and project specifications.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary degree or Diploma in Conservation, Forestry, or related field
- 2-5 years of experience in quality control for environmental projects
- Valid driver's license with 5 years practical driving experience with 4x4 experience advantageous
- PDP with a code EC (Code 10) drivers
- GIS knowledge will be an advantage
- MS-Office proficiency
- No criminal record
