Job Summary
Quality Assurance Technician responsible for QA tests (bulk density, magnetics, grading), reviewing and recording results using computer programs, and collaborating with the Production Foreman to adjust processes to meet specifications. Role involves process development activities, handling designated critical processes, and reporting any out-of-spec results. Works Monday–Thursday 3:00 pm–1:00 am with occasional Friday hours and includes a 90-day probation. Requires high school/technical diploma, strong safety mindset, and solid communication and computer skills. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and operate basic hand tools; English proficiency required with Spanish a plus. Reports to Production Foreman in a manufacturing setting such as Washington Mills in North Grafton, MA.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or Trade School/ Vocational High School Diploma
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- ability to read quality control tests and interpret results
- ability to use basic hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, mallets)
- basic math calculations
- English language proficiency (Spanish a plus)
