Quality Control Technician

Job Summary
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring consistent food safety and product quality, monitoring production lines for Good Manufacturing Practices, performing sanitation inspections, and supporting QA/QC Managers. Key responsibilities include conducting daily ATP swabs, creating production labels, resolving quality issues, approving samples, and documenting compliance with SQF, FDA (FSMA), and USDA regulations. Candidates should have experience in food safety practices, lab environments, and relevant industry experience, alongside strong communication skills and detail orientation.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of Food Safety Practices, Safety Programs and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP)
- Experience in a lab environment, wet chemistry preferred
- 1 - 2 years of industry experience preferably in a food manufacturing facility
- Proficient PC skills including Excel and Microsoft Word
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detailed oriented with the ability to maintain accurate and legible documentation
