Quality Control Technician

Job Summary
Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, and annual batch testing on incoming and outgoing materials to ensure conformance with internal and external quality requirements. Perform periodic calibrations of lab and plant equipment, execute first piece inspections on finished products, and participate in developing quality specifications for raw materials and finished goods. Maintain the lab in a safe, organized manner while supporting ISO 9001 compliance through quality audits of production processes and proper documentation. Communicate with other departments regarding material status. Requires high school diploma, one to two years of related experience, and minimum one year in extruded rubber products or similar industry.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to two years related experience and/or training
- Minimum one year of related experience working in Extruded Rubber Products (ERP) or similar industry
- ISO knowledge
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of lab testing and extrusion/mixing raw materials preferred
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong computer skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
