Job Summary
Insert lenses into metal, nylon, and plastic frames, clean appropriately, and check cosmetic properties for scratches, defects, and correct material types. Verify that eyewear meets all ordered prescription details before placing completed jobs in plastic bags for shipping. Ensure all glasses are ready for customer delivery as the final step in the production process. This second-shift role runs Monday through Friday from 2:45pm to 11:15pm with no prior experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Do you have an eye for detail?
- Identify and understand the different lens materials and types.
- Insert lenses into metal, nylor and plastic frames properly.
- Check the ophthalmic lenses and frames for any scratches, cosmetic defects, abnormal thicknesses, correct material type, etc. to make sure eyewear meets all details ordered with the prescription eyewear.
- Clean lenses and frame and place completed and clean job in plastic bag for shipping.
- The shift is Monday - Friday, from 2:45pm - 11:15 pm.
