Job Summary
Test selection of materials produced to ascertain quality in an effective, cost-efficient manner. Monitor production and certify test results for contract procurement or job completion. Maintain control charts and required records while operating testing equipment and company vehicles safely. Perform daily housekeeping operations to keep the lab environment clean. Demonstrate knowledge of aggregate testing procedures including gradations, XRF/chemistry, and deleterious counts. Wages start at $18.00/hr with higher pay potential for verifiable experience. Candidates must have a high school diploma, computer skills, and the ability to lift 50 pounds continuously. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Computer and data entry skills
- Skilled in operating quality control lab equipment and testing materials
- Demonstrable knowledge of aggregate testing procedures including gradations, XRF/chemistry testing, crushed count, deleterious count, basic geological knowledge
- Ability to problem solve and demonstrate critical thinking
- Ability to lift 50 pounds continuously throughout the day
- Basic mechanical/repair skills
- Basic math and computing/technology skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and able to work without constant supervision
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening
- Able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration document
