Job Summary
The Quality Control Technician for Ready-Mix is responsible for inspection, testing services, and documentation of product for plant facilities, ensuring compliance and quality for applications. Required qualifications include a high school diploma, DOT certifications, and a valid driver's license, with an emphasis on teamwork and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Must obtain and maintain DOT certifications required to test materials as required by state regulations
- Must have at minimum of an Iowa DOT Level II endorsement
- Must be at least 18 years in age or older
- Must have a current and valid driver’s license
- Pass post-offer employment drug screen, background check, physical, and MVR review
Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience in a related field preferred
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in concrete projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
Additional Requirements
- Individuals are required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas as stated by OSHA and/or MSHA
- Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required
- Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary
