Job Summary
Perform QC tests including air content, slump, coarseness, yield, set time, and strength. Calibrate production and testing equipment and sample raw materials for specification compliance. Record and communicate test results to dispatch, batch personnel, and customers while troubleshooting fresh and hardened concrete to identify quality issues. Travel to monitor quality standards and ensure batching, mixing, and delivery meet project specifications and customer expectations. Requires 1–year of QC experience in construction, industrial, or manufacturing. Competitive wages with overtime opportunities and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401K.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1–year of QC experience within a construction, industrial, or manufacturing environment
- Good organizational and math skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
