Job Summary
Collect product samples and perform quality testing, including Brix, pH, viscosity, and other analytical tests. Conduct in-process and finished-product inspections to verify quality and consistency, while reviewing batch records and production documentation for accuracy. Identify non-conforming products, place materials on quality hold, and perform sanitation verification, environmental monitoring, and allergen testing. Monitor production areas for temperature, humidity, and other environmental conditions, and inspect incoming raw materials and finished products for compliance with specifications. Document quality results, findings, and corrective actions, and partner with Production and Quality teams to investigate issues and support continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ year of Quality Control or Quality Assurance experience, preferably in food manufacturing
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
- Flexibility to work either scheduled shift based on production needs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with HACCP, GMPs, and food safety programs
- Experience performing food quality testing or laboratory procedures
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Bilingual English/Spanish
