Job Summary
Coordinate with test engineers to perform inspections on MTU components and analyze test data to validate quality check sheets. Assist in resolving production problems by processing test deviations and ensuring fuel, coolant, and oil filtration systems meet standards. Perform audits on test equipment and inspect engine products under fluorescent black light while maintaining close, distance, and peripheral vision. Work Sunday through Wednesday from 7:30 pm to 6:00 am in Aiken, SC. Lift materials weighing 10-50 pounds occasionally.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of experience in quality, industrial or manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of the practical application of manufacturing process and engine technology
- Knowledge of the dynamic performance requirements, test setup and monitoring, and problem resolution of internal combustion engines
- Ability to work flexible hours or shifts
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Ability to occasionally push, pull, carry, lift and or move materials within the work environment
- Materials will weigh between 10-50 pounds
- Ability to inspect MTU America engine products under a fluorescent black light
