Job Summary
Quality Control Technician responsible for testing and inspecting products at various production stages, interpreting engineering drawings to determine quality standards, selecting products for tests across dimensions, performance, mechanical, electrical, and/or chemical characteristics, recording data with statistical quality control, evaluating results, and recommending modifications to achieve optimal quality. Proficient in preparing graphs/charts, generating reports, and assisting in determining if parts are approved for shipment. Must be able to operate precision measuring instruments and test equipment, understand and apply quality standards, and collaborate with management and engineering staff to ensure reliability and compliance. AutoCAD experience is a plus; strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills are essential; ability to work with safety procedures and maintain ethical standards.
Required Qualifications
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
