Quality Control Technician – Manufacturing

Job Summary
Perform visual, dimensional, and leak inspections using established quality inspection methods and tools; verify material, component, and assembly compliance to engineering drawings and specifications; inspect standard and complex parts in accordance with first article, in-process, and final inspection requirements; accurately complete inspection reports, logs, and quality documentation; follow all safety procedures and quality policies related to assigned work; execute work assignments and technical instructions with minimal supervision; collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Supervisors, and Manufacturing to resolve quality issues and prioritize work; provide technical support, training, and mentoring to junior inspectors; support compliance with the company Quality Management System (QMS) and HR policies; perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- 1–5 years of experience in Quality Inspection, Mechanical Inspection, Manufacturing, or Engineering
- Working knowledge of CMM operation
- Basic understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Strong proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Experience with first article, in‐process, and final inspection
- Basic understanding of a Quality Management System (QMS)
- Proficient with computer systems and quality software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
