Job Summary
Quality Control Technician responsible for supporting quality management activities, conducting audits, establishing controls, training on tools and methodologies, reporting quality KPIs and customer issues, and maintaining process documentation. Must utilize measurement systems to produce data reflecting material and product characteristics, promote safety, and collaborate with Production and Engineering to drive quality improvements. Reports to Quality Supervisor; ABB values and safety standards apply.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Legal authorization to work in the US
- Knowledge and use of measurement tools (e.g., tape measure, calipers)
- Ability to safely lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to work in a manufacturing plant environment
