Quality Control Technician I

Oversee daily flooring activities and inspect products, materials and workmanship for defects or deviations; review project workmanship daily and document work activities in detail. Develop, apply, and maintain quality requirements and standards for flooring and other construction projects; design and implement methods for Quality Control and process improvements for testing and inspection. Promote and execute quality standards, inspection processes, test methods, quality plans, documents, and reports. Address customer concerns and issues including warranty-related repairs and material or quality issues; communicate with installers to ensure understanding of job specifications and installation requirements to maintain high quality standards. Collaborate with account representatives to ensure complete information for work assignments. Foundational knowledge of flooring construction and installation (wood, carpet, vinyl, tile); strong data presentation and influencing skills; detail-focused with the ability to manage multiple projects; excellent verbal and written communication; positive, motivated, and customer-focused attitude. Travel required. Education and experience: High School Diploma or GED; minimum 5 years flooring installation or related experience; experience selling products/services to multifamily property management companies preferred.
