Job Summary
Conduct quality control testing on products by selecting samples, performing destructive and nondestructive tests for dimensions, performance, and mechanical or chemical characteristics, and ensuring 100% compliance with ASTM, NSF, and UL standards. Record test data using statistical quality control procedures, evaluate results to validate standards or report deviations, and prepare graphs or charts for analysis. Support operators in resolving quality problems and recommend modifications to production standards while maintaining a clean work environment and operating lift trucks as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate, GED or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and write English clearly and concisely
- An eye for detail to ensure accuracy
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Computer proficiency, especially with Excel and Word
- Ability to work overtime and weekends when needed
- Must possess the ability to lift 40# frequently
- Must possess the ability to lift 50# to 75# with assisted apparatus (overhead crane/forklift)
- Must wear proper PPE
